7MPO Charity Event

As part of their commitment to achieving all sections of their Y7 Passport Challenge the students of 7MPO devised a plan to sign off their RESPECT challenge.

During one of their PSCHE lessons they learnt about planning for a charity event. They had lots of brilliant ideas and settled on completing a bake and bracelet sale. They worked very hard to make over 120 delicious cupcakes and a large trove of beautiful hand-made bracelets. This entailed staying after school one afternoon to make and bake the cupcakes a very hectic but enjoyable task! Additionally, the creative talents of Eilliyah and India were demonstrated as they made some beautiful bracelets. Not forgetting the importance of advertising their event, they also designed some fantastic posters that they displayed in the corridors of L block.

The next day they manned a cake and bracelet stall in L block and by the end of the two frantic break periods had completely sold out of all their marvellous items.

After all the cash and card payments had been collected 7MPO were able to donate £95.09 to The Children In Need charity.
