Knowledge Organisers
A knowledge organiser is a summary document, containing key facts and information that students need to have on a topic or theme. Our knowledge organisers include essential knowledge about the topic, key vocabulary or technical terms and their meanings; as well as images, quotations and formulae to help aid recall and understanding.
Knowledge organisers are used in lessons during revision activities and KS3 students have access to all their knowledge organisers for that term on the Revision Hub on our VLE. Students are encouraged to use knowledge organisers as part of their revision activities by creating flashcards to use for self-quizzing and other retrieval practice strategies.
