Year 10 PCHE Guest Speaker: Onyi Anyado

As a way of supporting our new Year 10 cohort at the start of their GCSE journey here at Hatch End, we invited a guest speaker to visit the whole year group during our scheduled PCHE period. Onyi Anyado is a highly regarded professional public speaker who holds many seminars, presentations, and talks at schools and places of work up and down the country.

Onyi's main areas of focus are instilling his audience with leadership, ownership and self-belief skills, which can be used or adapted appropriately into all areas of life - such as education, self and personal growth. The 210 pupils present were all captivated and engaged really well with Onyi, and much so especially within the sections where he used strategic Q&A and pupil led points of discussion.

His story itself is one that is very motivational and I hope he has left a lasting and extremely impactful positive effect on the year group as a whole. Thank you Onyi Anyado and thank you to our Year 10 pupils for their mature response to the presentation,
