This Girl Can

Launched in January 2015 by Sport England, and funded by The National Lottery, This Girl Can is a nationwide campaign to get women and girls moving, regardless of shape, size or ability. 

They believe that there’s no right way to get active - if it gets your heart rate up, it counts.
 

At HEHS, we have yet again embraced this philosophy and Friday 14th February saw girls from across the school participating in a range of activities, including self defence, Irish dancing, roller disco and Zumba, as well as a staff vs girls netball match. 

Well done, to all who joined in the fun and thanks to the PE department for organising and running the events.
