A Grand Opening

Posted on: 09/12/2019

On the 3rd December, Hatch End High School was delighted to welcome headteachers from the local primary and high schools, along with ex-staff and members of Harrow Council’s education sector, to the Grand Opening of its new building. Our thanks to Patrick O’Dwyer - Divisional Director/Education Services at Harrow Council and Kate Garnons Williams (Chair of Governors) who cut the ribbon at this special occasion and who have both always been very supportive of our school.

Students have been enjoying the benefit of light and airy classrooms, a fully equipped Learning Resource Centre, new IT suites and modern food laboratories, for nearly a term now, and the planting surrounding the new build is gradually bedding in - ensuring that we have ‘kerb appeal’. This is a building fit for 21st Century learning and study. It was long overdue, but I’m sure you will agree - well worth the wait!
