Year 13 Students Support The Big Half

This morning, our fantastic Year 13 students were up bright and early to volunteer at the London Marathon Big Half on Sunday 6th September.

Arriving at school at an impressive 5:45am, they got straight to work, helping to set up the route with track barriers, signage and water stations ready for the runners. As the race got underway, they kept runners hydrated, offered plenty of encouragement and cheered them on as they passed.

There was even a special moment when the students spotted Mr Chimonas, who was taking part in the race himself — giving them the perfect opportunity to cheer him on too!

A huge thank you to all our Year 13 volunteers for being absolutely brilliant and representing the school so positively. Throughout the morning, they demonstrated teamwork, organisation, communication, responsibility, initiative and enthusiasm. We are incredibly proud of them!
