Year 7 London Zoo Trip

All of Year 7 took to the trains last Friday 18^th September and travelled to Regents Park station. Train cancellations meant that we all arrived at Regent's Park in one go, which was interesting for the station staff, but the students were absolutely excellent. Having already given up seats on the train to people who needed them - they behaved very well and the TFL staff complimented the and  the students complete with tutors, Teaching Assistants and Sixth Form helpers spent the day seeing many of the animals at the zoo. They had a great day. It was such a good opportunity to make new friends whilst having the chance to use public transport to access a London venue. They also completed a small assignment looking at litter management and careers on offer at the zoo.  Students were very excited and many came to tell me what had been their favourite animal or experience. Huge thanks to the Jack Petchey Foundation who help fund this activity.
