Teacher Fancy Dress Sixth Form Charity Fundraiser a Success!

Posted on: 14/02/2025

We are really excited this summer to be taking 15 students to visit Bucharest in Romania and work with a number of charities. They will be working with children in an orphanage, the elderly and families on low incomes and also with families with terminal illnesses. The students have funded their trip and are now fundraising to give donations to the charities to help them keep caring for people all year round.  You can read more about the two main charities here:

As part of this trip on February 14th, our Sixth Form students kicked off their fundraising efforts with a fantastic Teacher Fancy Dress Day! Staff embraced the fun, dressing up in creative costumes, much to the delight of students. The event raised an impressive £234, which will go towards supporting children and the elderly in need in Romania.  A huge thank you to all the teachers who took part and everyone who donated—your generosity is making a real difference! Stay tuned for more fundraising events as we continue our mission to help those in need. Donations can also be made via school ParentMail account if you would like to support these students and the charities.
