Neurodiversity Week 2024Hatch End High School were proud to support Neurodiversity Celebration Week from Monday 18th March - Friday 22nd March 2024. The SEN Department pulled out all the stops to put on activities across the school promoting Neurodiversity, raising awareness and fundraising for charity.

We were visited by J Grange, an international speaker, who shared his experiences of ADHD with students. The gym was a hive of activity when Staff vs Students Dodgeball took place. Well done to Kayla, Jack and Samuel who were the last students standing!

The Cedar Room hosted some activities too, such as problem solving, giant board games, slime making, cake decorating, and an epic table football competition!

The Grand Finale of the week was a Charity Sale, where students sold cakes and biscuits they had made and decorated, slime they had made, bookmarks, jewellery and other items. Mrs Hussein raffled off her incredible cupcake bouquets, too!

We want to say a massive thank you to all the staff and students who helped organise and take part in the events over the week. Altogether, we raised a whopping £817 to be shared between The National Autistic Society and The ADHD Foundation. Well done all!
