HEHS Wembley Stadium Football Trip

Last week, Hatch End High School students from Years 7-11 attended a trip to Wembley Stadium to watch England Women's Football Team play the Netherlands Women's Football Team in a European Nation's League match.
It was a thrilling game with England 2-0 down at half-time. A strong second half performance saw England draw level at 2-2 and then in the last minute, Ella Toone popped up to score another goal and send the 70,000 fans, (including our 42 students!) into huge celebrations.
The students had a lovely evening and we all hope this inspires them to train even harder to achieve their dreams.
