I have just completed my second year at the University of Bath studying Biochemistry. I have enjoyed the excellent sports facilities and the activities with the Music Society. During my third year I will be doing a placement working on the structure of Insulin for potential new treatments for diabetes. I will be spending 7 months in Grenoble, France at the European Synchrotron and Neutron Facility and 5 months in Copenhagen, Denmark working for Novo Nordisk. I took French AS and continued my French at university so this will be invaluable next year.
