First Story Book Launch

On Tuesday 27th June, a group of talented Hatch End High School students made us proud by publishing their own poems in an anthology called 'Pieces of Us' as part of the First Story Young Writer's Programme.
The students have been working hard for months to create their masterpieces, and their hard work has finally paid off. The anthology is now available at Hatch End Library and is also in the British Library.
To celebrate this incredible achievement, we organized a Red Ribbon cutting ceremony for the launch of their books. It was an amazing opportunity to listen to the students share their beautiful poems about identity and each one of them had a story to tell. The anthology is a testament to the students' hard work and dedication.
It is a great honour for our school to have such talented students who are passionate about writing. The students have shown that with perseverance and hard work, anything is achievable. We hope that their success will inspire other students to follow their dreams and pursue their passions.
