Brave The Shave!

On Thursday 26th September, Mrs McGarvey took to the stage in aid of McMillan Cancer Support. A packed audience of students cheered her on as Curtis McNally (Year 10) - with the winning raffle ticket - was happy to take the scissors to her multiple pony tails. The hair will be sent off to the Trust to be made into wigs for cancer patients who lose theirs during chemotherapy treatment - a very worthy cause.

Having been de-ponytailed, Mrs. McGarvey then had her head completely shaved, thus completing the challenge. A total in excess of £2000 has so far been raised for the charity, with more still pledged.
