Hatch End in the Community

As a school we are passionate about getting involved in community events and celebrating when our students are involved in exciting experiences outside of school. Last week we were very proud of George C in 7MMH who was involved in as a flag bearer at Wembley Stadium. Please see below a few lines from George about his experience.

"On Thursday 10th October 2024 I was a flag bearer for the England v Greece match at Wembley. Before the game, I got to meet the players as they arrived, and watch them warm up. I then took the Greek flag onto the pitch in front of 90,000 people. I knelt next to the flag while the national anthems were being sung. It was a great experience and we had a good view of the game because we were in the front row."
