As a recent Economics graduate from the University of Hertfordshire, I have achieved a first in my degree. After completing my Maths, Economics and French A levels at Hatch End High School Sixth Form, I decided to study Economics and it has been a great journey for me. During my time at university I took part in various activities, for example mentoring students. I gained experience in how to manage my time well with a part-time job, academic work and extra-curricular activities.
A levels can be a rigorous academic qualification however you definitely need to give it your all!
My advice to students would be that A levels count! It is also equally important to dedicate your time to activities outside work and academia as they are greatly valued.
Good luck!
