Having left Hatch End High School in 2011, I embarked upon a Civil Engineering degree with an integrated foundation year at Kingston University. Since I studied A Level English Lit and Lang, History and Economics, I could not directly join the Civil Engineering course, therefore I did a foundation year to catch up on the technical knowledge. However, Hatch End High School provided me with the perfect foundation to achieve anything. My advice to all aspiring university students is to knuckle down and work hard in your A Levels and enjoy your 2 year stay there, you won't get it back!
